Representing Protesters  1.0 Total HR including Q&A
Presented and Faclitated by Amy Hannah, Louisville Metro Public Defender and KACDL 2017 President

Presenters: Tracy Davis, Courtney Kellner & Ted Shouse
There are two considerations when representing protestors: 1) The specific case.  Fighting to vindicate the rights of your client. This is, of course, paramount.  The ins and outs of district court practice and how to win your client’s case; 2) Working within a group to achieve a systemic result.  If one of us wins – we all win.

For his work he has been recognized by his peers as one of Louisville’s Top Lawyers in Louisville Magazine.  Mr. Shouse’s office is in Louisville, and he regularly represents people in Jefferson County, but he also regularly defends clients in state and federal courts throughout Kentucky.
