The first half of this hour-long presentation will be a quick review of the rules and cases necessary to prepare any case for a bail hearing; the second half will focus on advocacy particular to Covid-19 times, including the sharing of data which shows the rate at which rates of non-money bail increased while rates of committing new offenses while on bail remained static.
